Volvo C30 new front sport and great personality

Volvo C30 is the more youthful and lively. It appeals to customers who spend most of their time in town and that require very design, the driving characteristics and personality of the car. And the new C30, which makes its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2009, offers even more options than ever before.

The renewal of the Volvo C30 is larger than that of the other Volvo models. The entire front has been redesigned, including body panels, like the front fenders. The unique center console, Volvo is already available in a range of innovative alternatives. For it has now added a new option: the Oyster Burst Deco. The Volvo design team was inspired by the texture of the classic Swedish Hagström guitars, became famous in the world with such stars as Elvis Presley in the '50s. From spring 2009 Volvo C30 1.6D DRIVe variant is available with an advanced start / stop function that switches off the engine when the car is stationary, for example at traffic lights or queuing. This reduces fuel consumption to just 3.8 l/100 km and carbon dioxide emissions amount to only 99 g CO ₂ / km, the lowest in this segment.
