For a select few SLS AMG Desert Gold and G 55 AMG Edition 79

The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, the protagonist of this year's Frankfurt International Motor Show, is the "Dubai International Motor Show" further enhanced by an attractive golden color.   This particular shade with opaque silk, called "AMG Desert Gold", gives the new sportscar extraordinary aura. At the Motor Show in Dubai, considered the most important motor show in the Middle East, also celebrates the international debut of the special model G 55 AMG KOMPRESSOR "Edition 79".

The matte gold hue of the exterior details and effective in glossy black enhance the muscular forms of the bodywork of aluminum. With its matte surface, silky tone "AMG Desert Gold" further accentuates the sporty character of the new "Gullwing". All moldings that the SLS AMG shining chrome or Silver Shadow shades, were covered in this special model with a deep black color paint. The Mercedes star and the slats of the air intake on the front, the fins on the hood and on the sides of the car, the door and filling the model name: every detail stands out in a shiny black, creating a delightful contrast to the livery silk and gold paint minimal. The alloy wheels AMG 19-inch front and 20 inches at the rear, painted in deep black, are embellished with a thin gold ring on the edge.

The shade "AMG Desert Gold" at the time was used exclusively for the car on display at the Dubai International Motor Show, but in case of positive feedback and specific requests from customers, this special gold paint could be offered as an optional extra customized by 'AMG PERFORMANCE STUDIO. With "Monza gray magno AMG" and "designo magno alanite gray" are already available for SLS AMG two charming flat paints. The highlight of the range is still represented by the color "silver alubeam AMG", a liquid metal effect paint unique.

Obviously, the interior of this particular SLS AMG is presented in a gritty black robe: wrap AMG sports seats are matched perfectly with the center console in carbon fiber, as well as with the other components of the passenger in the same material. Opening the hood reveals the AMG 6.3-liter V8 with an output of 420 kW (571 hp), framed with effect from the engine compartment cover in fine carbon.

Exclusively in the Middle East, the special model G 55 AMG KOMPRESSOR "Edition 79" evokes memories of the opening of sales of the relevant Series in 1979. This icon of the terrain with a power of 373 kW (507 hp) has a row of fans particularly large in the Gulf, which in fact represents the main market for commercialization of this flagship AMG. The "Edition 79" has a unique combination of equipment: first, an exclusive off-road limited to 79 pieces is immediately evident from his body in "designo magno alanite gray." This opaque paint, already known for SLS AMG is not otherwise available for the Class G. From the series model, the G 55 AMG KOMPRESSOR terrain "Edition 79" stands for the front bumper, side moldings, decorative look in carbon, alloy wheels 19-inch AMG in titanium finish and chrome grilles for Front turn signals, tail lights and run protection. Inside, the look is captured by the designo leather upholstery in shades of black / sand, from the finest carbon fiber inserts and logo Edition "1 out of 79" in front of the automatic transmission shifter.
